I’ve been wanting to find a way to thank you – my faithful readers – for all your support, great questions, and insights for a while now. It occurred to me that a fun way to do this would be to give you a present! I wish I had the means to give each and every one of you a gift, but this is the next best thing: I’m going to gift one lucky reader with this awesome VitaClay slow cooker.

Now this isn’t some humdrum boring old slow cooker that makes a decent pot of chili. This thing’s got skillz. For starters:

  • The pot is made from all-natural unglazed pure clay. This means no nasty aluminum, lead or other non-stick chemical coatings to infect your food. As a nice bonus the clay will intensify the flavor of whatever you’re making. (A piece of kitchen gear that makes you look better as a chef… Can’t go wrong with that!)
  • It cooks up to 4 times faster than a conventional slow cooker. Essential for the time-conscious among us.
  • It has all the benefits of slow cooking – delicious and easy to prepare meals that are easily digested and packed full of important nutrients, enzymes and vitamins.
  • It makes yogurt. Seriously! (This was the seller for me)
  • It’s programmable for 10 minutes up to 5 hours of cooking time with 10 minutes increments. It also has a delay timer and automatic Keep Warm function.

As the weather cools and schedules get busier with the holidays fast approaching, efficient meal prep and nourishing stews and slow cooked meals are top of my list of essentials. Let us help you out and get your dinner off to a particularly delicious start.

As a bonus, we’ll send three never-before-seen Chef James slow-cook recipes that he’s been perfecting over the last few months. You can be our official recipe tester!

Here’s how to enter:

1. Sign up for my newsletter below (if not already on the list). You must be subscribed at the time the winner is drawn. You can unsubscribe at any time.

I use my slow cooker to make roasts, chili, and soups. It takes a few minutes in the morning to have a great meal at night. Cooking meats in the slow cooker is healthier than cooking them on the grill to frying them. The Vita Clay Organic Multicooker would be a wonderful addition to help me diversify my culinary skills. Thank you for the opportunity and I love your site, always something that I can use.

My new favorite (just introduced to me this Thanksgiving by my 78-year-old mother-in-law) is white kidney bean stew. Growing up, my favorite was slow cooked chicken with yams, which my mom would sometimes make in a clay pot. The clay really does enhance the flavor! Mmmm…
